As far as I can get with the translations - I din't actually speak Spanish! Spanish: Si verdad que tu eres guapa, Yo te voy a poner gozar Tu tiene la boca grande dale ponte a jugar English: if you're really pretty i'm going to enjoy putting your mouth is big please give play I think we can infer plenty of meaning from that.... Spanish: Ella quiere su Rumba English: She wants her Rumba Not quite so sure about this one as Rumba doesn't seem to have anything different in english. Spanish: Que ola cata, Que ola omega English: That wave tasting omega that wave Again, this one's pretty strange! Overall, I think it's good for us English speaking people that we don't understand the Spanish because we can listen to the song and pretend it's innocent! |

I think you'll find it's "I don't need no other one" NOT "I know no other one"! But this song is lovely -- basically a guy saying she's all he needs, he doesn't need anyone else to make him happy - all guys should tell their girl this. |

i can't believe this song has no comments! this was my favourite song as a kid, along with perfect 10. i'm so impressed thata i've grown up where the beautiful south came from; as they are one of my favourite bands. it's pretty obvious meaning, it's so obvious that she is beautiful to him, and if she isn't, and she breaks his heart, he is dumb. "It doesn't take a labrador To show a blind man sun" i love this line, as it's such an obvious statement, yet it's not obvious, it's not the first thing some one would think of when asked for an obvious statement. |

i am in love with this song at the minute. it seems fully apropriate of my life aswell. i've been with my boyfriend for seven months now, and it's really serious, but he hasn't yet met my dad. my dad still treats me as if i'm 10, and still calls me princess and things on the phone, which i still love, but he'll soon have to start realising i have to grow up - and already have. daddy will always be the number one man in my life though :-) i think i might play him this song, and tell him i think he should listen to it and think about it. |

"the ribbon on my wrist says do not open before christmas" obviously the ribbon on a present, resist cutting your wrist and spoiling christmas for the family, blah blah blah.. but there's the connection of it's usually a red ribbon used around christmas presents, and red blood pooring could been seen as a ribbon of blood. blood, christmas, jesus. :) |

yeah it's like "hah, thats what you though" "i'm gonna prove you so wrong" "I'll show you who's rock'n'roll" obviously trying to prove someone wrong. "i could teach you a thing or two" they obviously thought they were better. catchy, you hear it once, and end up with it in your head for the rest of the day. proves it's a great song if you ask me :). |

4am is the time when most people who die in their sleep, die. it's the time when most people who can't sleep look at the clock and feel vunerable. (aparently) 4am is one of those stupid times, where it's too late to bother going to bed, and too early to wake up. a ruboish time. a stupid time. the song can mean many things, loss of a loved one, split of a relationship, thinking things through, whatever. i just think it generally means feeling vunerable and unloved. |
