Car Tanzler filled her chest with rags and whatnot to make her seem normal and alive. He also put a deathmask on her face to hide the decompostion. You guys are right, I think its about a coroner who gets off on the fact that hes surrounded by death/sickness that leads to death. Or its about a doctor who enjoys the aformentioned death and sickness but also chooses to let them die/become even more sick for his own pleasures. TBDM are amazing, in more ways then one. |

I can generally say judging from what the band says about the whole album being in total a story of a vampire who falls in love with an angel, is that this song is probably the vampire explaning that this angel(the candy girl) is softening him up to the point where he can no longer be a cold, lifeless being meant to consume the life of others. Since hes finding love with her. This is most obvious in the chorus

I seriously think this song is about a guy tricking a girl into taking her virginity.I have a very bad past with this because a girl I loved deeply had a very...explicit past,which involved her losing her virginity in an unorthodox way. I swear this reminds me of her so much. How angry I was and everything. "Strangers Candy" being the guy promising her alot of love. I think this song is referring to a woman who has been through tons of difficulties in her life. And eventually gives birth to a child and realizes that all that suffering and pain(whatever it may have been) was worth it because of her baby. Read the lines...it makes some sense, right? |
