This song keeps me sane. Yesterday IS gone, we can't fix it. There is no better moment than when "faith eclipses fear". It's good to know that Christian music doesn't have to all sound like hyms (not that there is anything wrong with that). Christians are supposed to be a model that other people cannot wait to follow. Toby is a great example of how to blend the values of God's word with the funk that blows the dust off of the speakers of most Christians. |

| Over the past year I have had a wave of emotions pass over me that I did not necessarliy know how to deal with in a healthy manner. I did not know how to deal with anger except to blow up and express it. This did not always work out so well for me. Anger leads to anger and hate breeds more hate. If you listen to this song, without concentrating on the lyrics, it sounds like a typical expresion of musical rage. The lyrics, however, are extremely positve and speak of a need to reach out for God's help in those times of trouble and hurt. Anger is a healthy and necessary emotion, but if it is not dealt with in a healthy manner it will come back to haunt you. | |
