if y'all read the book "she said 'yes'" it pretty much takes care of finding out the meaning of this song. i used to think this song was about heart break. which still makes sense to me now, but columbine shootings are really what's it about. but if y'all wanna hear my 'heartbreak' threoy, here it is; "She answered him knowing what would happen" she said, even though she knew this guy was a player, she knew that this guy was trouble, but she still said yes, she knew that this would end up bad. "And Cassie pulled the trigger" 'suicidal romance' pretty much self-explanitory y'all getting it? |

does anyone but me think that this song is about a guy falls in love with a girl when she thought it was just a one night stand? because he licked his lips so his lips wouldn't be dry when they kissed. but you aren't supposed to kiss on one night stands [according to the girl in the song]. so his lips got chapped. "You have a dangerous face and illegal taste" i think is talking about she's so beautiful that she's make a man kill/hurt [being dangerous] and a taste [meaning sex] is so good it should be illegal. y'all following this? |

kayso, y'all that think that having other people writing lyrics for you, never happens, you guys are totally wrong, 75% percent of artists hit songs actually aren't written by the person singing them. reason behind this, you ask? if someone wrote all of their songs themselves, everything would start to sound the same and people would lose instrest, but a new sound, different take on how to write, make the music business much more interesting. any of that make sense? and y'all think that i am just making this off the top of my head, my mom is in the music business. so i know my crap. : ] |
