now after listening to the NIN version and then the Cash version i must agree with.. it seems nobody.. Johnny made this song sound aged... so full of knowledge NIN has come up with it and i understand the people who wouldnt like Cash for toying with an already good song, i feel that for a lot of songs too (Curse you Virgin Mobile) My personal opinion: the NIN original ver. took brought upon me more of a dancey feeling than the Cash ver. which just tore me apart on the inside... |

i know the feeling benvliet just described! and i totally agree, with the whole "I'm so, I'm so tired, I'm so tired of trying" line and than: "It seems to me that maybe It pretty much always means no So don't tell me you might just let it go" like i hate that... the other person just makes you feel so bad, and they tell YOU that they feel like crap... like ouch. overall i love this song so much! |
