Panic! at the Disco – Nine In The Afternoon Lyrics 17 years ago
This is a beatles influenced song. So i think it goes back to the time where holding hands and daisys were all the rage. I think its about a boy and a girl returning to or talking about a place where they felt 'unique' where anything was impossible where time was lost, what felt like 9 in the morning was 9 in the afternoon, or what was 9 at night was again 9 in the afternoon. The reference to eyes as wide as the moon is as simple as a female gazing up towards her fella. i read somewhere on someone response it was about getting stoned and that your eyes getting wide when stoned was a myth.. well that infact it proposterous and its medical fact.... but this is jus a retrospect love song, something like the beatles yesterday

Sum 41 – Hooch Lyrics 17 years ago
This song for me is about a guy that has such negative feelings about the world, his life and a relationship. He so wants to believe and accept what he has is 'paradise' but he cant block out the voice in his head. The final phase of the song, repeating 'ill fall into you, but dont believe this is real' is his realisation that he's falling for someone yet at the same time cannot believe this is happening to him

what makes this song great, is it goes from hardcore punk to a ballard, and its beautiful and harmonic. it could be said this change of pace is the protagonists attitude, at first its 100mph his minds racing and when the uncertaintitys become clear hes calm and at ease

Still Remains – Stay Captive Lyrics 18 years ago
This song seems to me why stress and fret about someone because if there worth it theyll come to you. It sorta saying to a guy stand up and stop chasing which is what a girl wants, you see him put his arm round her and reject him but once he dont show no effection she crawls back to him... the chorus lyrics are bang on! its about time girls did chasing

Blink-182 – Adam's Song Lyrics 18 years ago
Hilarious! The guys who come online and slate a band for being 'mainstream' well... the band must be doing something for you if you feel necessary to comment. But surely if a band goes main stream, is it such a big deal. They are acheiving what they want and the fans see more exposure of a band they love, whats annoying are those who say theyre fans after listening to one song... but back to the song. This song was written for a boy who killed himself, as said before his mom wrote to blink who wrote this song. I love it the harmonies and broody tone to it.

The anthem of summer 2003 for me! The crazy stuff we got up to like stealing tractors and staying up late eating bacon and drinking cider!! 16 was the best!!!

Blink-182 – Stockholm Syndrome Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is in my opinion in the top 3 Blink songs. But #1 for poetic structure. The scizo person of the protagonist of the song is embodied in the 1 liners both Mark and Tom give, almost two voices in one song... I remember listening to this song early in 2006 when i was in a dark time in my life and never have lyrics ran on such parallels of my thoughts as they did last year. WHAT A SONG!!!

Blink-182 – Story of a Lonely Guy Lyrics 18 years ago
5 years on abd people still talking about this song... thats how good Blink are.

When i listen to this song, i think of a guy sitting in his room thinking about all the girls hes been with or nearly got with and how its ended in disaster. And as he sits there realises that nothing has happened for him in favour of girls. 'Heres my book with a boring ending, a short story of a lonely guy'
