XD Honestly, this is the only Used song I like. But I hate MCR and P!ATD and don't see the resemblence at all. It reminds me a little of...oh hell, I don't know, kinda like a less grunge version of Oasis with a better singer. Too bad I hate Oasis too. |

Kill me for playing captain obvious, but it's about religion. More, it's about how people twist religion to their own needs and corrupt the original meaning. The fact that they do this takes away from the hope, ect. that it gives to other believers. |

Ok, the lyrics are different because the cencors didn't think that English speaking people would like the actual meaning.
Think about it, the German people were living in a word that was still pockmarked by the Cold War and the song kinda reflects that. The juxtaposition of the happy perky music and the lyrics just rocks, though.
Anyway, the fact that the lyrics are different just goes to show how much people actually listen- both versions were hits. |
