This song, I haven't heard it before, but from the lyrics, it sounds great. It shows the life of outsiders, and how everyday people can feel. Love it. |

As for the "Stupid people do stupid things,
Smart people outsmart each other,
Then themselves, then themselves,
Then themselves, then themselves", I believe that SOAD shows us how the smart people of the world keep trying to out-do themselves. Whether that's a good thing or not... is in the eye of the beholder. |

I think that this song is definitely based on dying or near-death experiences. I think that it means that he thinks that we might not know when we die. |

I think that this song is not about any specific war. I think it's about war in general. These soldiers know that they have a good chance and, as it says in the song, they could be "standing on the top of their own graves." |

My favorite line in this song is "why don't you ask the kids at Tianimen Square? Was fashion the reason why they were there?" If you know what happened there in 1989, this song takes on a whole new meaning and becomes something totally different.
People can "hypnotize" others until some thought becomes an epidemic. |

I think that this song definitely shows what America (and the rest of the world for that matter) is really like. Our world is slowly dying, and it's our fault.
I can soooo see this song as a speech. |
