I find this to be the most lyrical of his songs, and the flow of the lyrics are also remarkable. As to its meaning, i am at a loss. Some of it is very relatable to the times and to the social issues, but again a lot of it seems to just be pretty imagery and confounding rhymes, anyone who can shed some actual light on this song without saying, Congrats Mr. Dylan your a GENIOUS! or OMG this song moves me, would be much appreciated, as i have some of my own views on the meaning and i would like to see what other people think. |
