It's about how B-real always got himself into trouble. He's confused and upset with his situations and then realizes it's all his doing. Hence "trouble always found me, i know i used to welcome it with my arms open wide". Plus in the music video, it shows that all of his trouble has to do with himself towards the end. |

your all making the song more then what it is. there are no metaphors. he explains the meaning through the words. its not about drugs. everyone thinks every song is about drugs or love witch is retarded. "i felt the hate rise up in me, kneel down to clear the stone of leaves, i wonder out where you can't see, inside my shell i wait and bleed" - this paints a clear picture of him at a cemetery with someone else, kneels down to brush leaves off an important persons grave stone, and wonders off into the woods, where the person whos with him, wont see him, sits down, and 'bleeds inside his head'. meaning he just waits and lets pain sink it. its pretty fucking clear, none of you have enough creativity or common sense to paint an image from the words. the rest of the lyrics have obvious expressions too. you just have to paint a picture out of them. |

actually, all of you are wrong. the closest was when you guys said he had to forget about the last 10 years of his life. this song is about how him and slipknot completely changed. they're motto used to be 'we won't die' in this song hes centering that by saying "we were never alive, and we won't be born again" and "the other me is dead, i hear his voice inside my head" they changed, and ill admit, its a good song, but even so, i hate it. the old slipknot is gone.. =[ thats why all hope is gone sounds so different from regular slipknot. i just want chory to explain this. im so dissapointed. |
