It has to be Media Blitz because he says "Down set, one, hut hut, hike" and that makes no sense with "Media please." "Classy cars" might be right. And how the heck did you get "talking classic cold" and "Hell's dreamers?"

The only part I'm iffy on is the very beginning and where its repeated towards the end of the song. Aside from that, I'm fairly certain its accurate.

Fall Out Boy – I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me and You) Lyrics 18 years ago
Maybe it's just me, but I see this song as more about someone who is in love with their friend, and has even asked them out, but the other just sees them as a friend. For example:

Last year’s wishes
Are this year’s apologies
Every last time I come home
[Saying sorry for messing with ther friendship by trying to be more than just friends.]
I take my last chance
To burn a bridge or two
[Tries to pretend like it never happened, even though by asking him/her out, he/she has made it so their friendship will never be quite the same.]
I only keep myself this sick in the head
cause I know how the words get to you
[The person who asked the other out keeps themselves 'sick in the head' by not expressing their real feelings, dumbing down their affection for the other because he/she knows that it would get to the other person.]

And of course, the 'Me and you, setting in a honeymoon... If I woke up next to you' is saying that he/she is still in love with his/her friend, and that they just wish so badly that they could be 'in a honeymoon' with the other, so he/she could just wake up and see the other, and just be happy.

Thats probably a bias, though, since I've recently gone through that, so it's always possible that I'm just trying to make the song relate to me rather than me relate to the song.

Fall Out Boy – The Take Over, the Breaks Over Lyrics 18 years ago
I think I got a completely diferent vibe from this song than you guys. I thought it more telling a story than talking about themselves as a band. Let me explain:

I think the song is about a girl who is having an affair with the singer, and the girl breaks it off before she can caught. The singer, however, doesn't want this. ("The Take Over" as in take over for the girl's husband, "The Break's Over" as in their 'break' is over, since hes trying to get back with her.)

At the beginning, he says, "season change, but peple don't," This could mean that the girl is trying to deny that she enjoyed sleeeping with him, or that shes saying that she doesn't love him anymore, but hes saying that he knows she hasn't changed her feelings; shes just trying to not get caught. The line, "I'll always be waiting in the back room" supports this, since he'll be waiting for her to stop lying and come back to him.

The next lines, "Don't pretend you ever forgot about me, also support it, since he knows that she hasn't forgotten about him, even if she tries to deny him.

"Wouldn't you rather be a widow than a divorcee" is saying that she should get rid of her husband to be with him, rtaher then drag it out and end up going through court processes, division of their posessions, and stuff like that. Hes saying that she should do this also because it she'd get money, supported by the "Style you way with fashion magazines" part, since fashion crap is bound to be expensive.
"We don't fight gair" refers to how, even though what hes saying is extreme, she knows that hes right. She really doesn't love her husband, as shown by the fact that she had an affair, and what hes saying makes sense. If he's gone, they can be together, and she'll end up with money and his stuff.

The part about her head being a prison and conjugal visits, that just has to do with her locking up how she really feels about him, like a prison, and how is songs are like conjugal visits, because they confront her feelings somewhere deep down inside of her, even if she denys it.
I loved the next lines, "People will disect this 'til it doesn't mean a thing anymore". It's more or less a poke at fans like us who analyze the songs and their meanings so that we might end up forgetting what the songs actually are: entertainment.

The whole "we do it in the dark" part, refers to their affair, obviously.

Fall Out Boy – Dance, Dance Lyrics 18 years ago
Here's my interpretation of it:

"she says she's no good
with words but i am worse"

He’s in love with this girl, but hes never realy talked to her. So he goes up to hit on her, and she points out how bad he is at it.

"barely stuttered out
a joke of a romantic
stuck to my tongue"

He’s still trying to hit on her, even though she’s making fun of him.

"weighed down with words
too overdramatic"

He loves her, but since she doesn’t even know him, everything he says to her comes out as obsessive, or over-dramatic.

"tonight it's it can't get much worse
vs. no one should ever feel like"

He realizes that he’s screwed up his chances, and he just wonders how its possible to feel as bad as he does.

"i'm two quarters and a heart down
and i don’t want to forget
how your voice sounds"

He continues to try to get her, (I don’t want to forget how your voice sounds) even though its pointless, and puts on a song (jukebox, a song costs two quarters)

"these words are all i have
so i write them
so you need them just to get by"

He decides that, since he’s not good at saying the words, that he’ll just write them out and give them to her.

"dance, dance
we're falling apart to half time
dance, dance
and these are the lives you love to lead
dance, this is the way they'd love
if they knew how misery loved me"

He starts dancing with her, but he knows that he’s already lost her. (“… Falling apart…”) He knows that the girl hes dancing with is out of his league, but thinks that girls like her wouldn’t act the way they do if they knew how he felt.

"you always fold just
before you're found out"

The girl he likes actually starts liking him back, but won’t show it because she doesn’t want her friends to see her with him. (“Fold just before you’re found out”)

"drink up its last call, last resort
but only the first mistake"

He tries to get her drunk so maybe she’ll forget about her friends, but he knows that this, too, could end badly.

"why don't you show me
a little bit of spine
you've been saving for his mattress (love)"

The girl actually already has a boyfriend, but he loves her too much to care.

"why don't you show me
a little bit of spine
you've been saving for his mattress
i only want sympathy
in the form of you
crawling into bed with me"

He thinks that she is liking him out of sympathy rather than genuine emotion, but he doesn’t care. He still wants her.

Thats my interpretation, anyway. Feel free to flame it, if you like.
