I personally don't think he says this shit life in the beginning. it sounds like this ship, or shit, and then other times this ship(t) mushroom. but not this shit life, some bro yelled that behind me at a show, and there is no "life" part there. also, adam wrote the song not dave i don't agree so much with strawberryandre's interpretation of it it sounds a lot like they are describing what the title of the song is. it's a poem from lewis carroll's through the looking glass and what she found there, part of alice in wonderland. and the creature has... a big mouth and huge hands with wings and whatnot. i think the song is just about creatures and monsters, and people and how we deal with one another and our own monsters |

Two things, these lyrics are mainly incorrect and two.
