I really dont think you guys are giving him cerdit for his amazing lyrics. I don't think his songs are too artistic, however, they do say exactly how people feel. When I first heard this song i was speechless, I wanted to scream because this song describes my high school career perfectly, I dont think its so much a song about him graduating and wanting to get out, although he clearly does, its much more about the people that need to grow up and get a clue that there is way more out there than just high school. I loved it! |

I actually created an account because of this song. I have to say how completely amazing it is.. I remember the first time I heard it in my friends computer room, we were all beginning to become 3eb fans and this song played and the two of them didnt really seem to get it, but it spoke to me.
The song definitely is about he glamorization of drug use from hollywood and others. And you can see from the verse..."wont grow old to be, a junkie wino creep"..that he is not glamorizing it either, he does not think highly of addicts obviously.
And one last thing, this song also really reminds me of requim for a dream..different drugs but same idea. Watch it. |

Like Ive said before a few months ago I attended a jacks concert and he put it right out there that this project was completely ispired by a summer he spent in Cali, and that the album tells a story. We obviously all can see fromt hsi song and others like Holiday from Real, that drugs were a big part of this summer. This song very much is about rugs, and to me...drugs only. |

manprettys panties is extremely right, I saw them in concert a few months ago [by the way it was the best concert ive ever been to] but andrew said he dranka nd wrote this song to his ex after his asshole friend called him and said that he saw his girl last night and she looked amazing. He also commented a few tiems as to how he hates the "fucking president".
But whether or not he cheated on her, I think that she was just sick of waiting for him to run around having a wild & great time while she waited and wasted the best years of her life, maybe that includes cheating but who really cares. |
