| I think the whole surgery thing is just a metaphor, Its actually seems to be about someone going through some serious shit in their life, and comparing the pain that shit causes, to going through an operation without any pain avoiding medication. In the song he's saying he doesn't want to go through with that, so just give me the medication (ie, my lifes fucked up, if i drink/abuse drugs i'll be able to forget the pain for a while) | |

My current situation rolls out in song yet again :< To me this song is about two people who are in love, but one of them is already in a relationship, and isn't willing to risk what they already have. The singer (in terms of my situation at the moment that would be me), chooses to accept that but secretly hopes they'll break up on their own so he can have his chance. |
