my favourite album track atm it's about kids desperate to get out of watever they're in (probably home maybe relationship=undecided) , they don't know wat they want but they don't want this 'Houdini look, you don't know what you're running away from' i love the over riding Wizard of Oz theme, v clever 'Dorothy was right tho' = no place like home. Don't wish your life away whilst you're at home, i think this is also a bit bitter on 'monkeys behalf who probably take comfort in being at home now more than ever. love it |

| i think this song tops off an amazing album, yeh it shows their progression but it keeps true 'monkeys in mind. Alex's being romantic but it's got a mardy bum-esque quality 'I'm not shy of a spark' implying that they aren't afraid to argue. They write about reality...it's not pure soppyness, he's cheeky 'With your hands between your thighs' and paranoid about the relationship at the same time 'The knife twists at the thought that I should fall short of the mark' brilliant song writers...bit shit after a break up but meh i love it | |
