| I'm not sure what the whole thing means but there are def. some religious connotations here. Despite the obvious repition of " oh my god", the lyric: "bloods streaming from my palms and my feet" could be a reference to Jesus on the cross, since he was nailed to the cross through his hands and feet. and the next line "i'll bring the heavens down screaming with me " keeps in line with the religious theme. so maybe its about that tension between how we want to be and the expectations of what we're supposed to be, like religious expectations. i don't know.... :/ | |
