like elliott smith said, for example you can take a picture of new york and show it to someone they might think it looks big ,scary or depressing, but you could show that same picture to another person and they might think it looks like a place for oppurtunities to make a life and to have fun. thats how he looks at his songs, a song to him could be different to you, the thing about his songs is that there almost never about one thing. |

i got a take on this song but im too lazy to post all of it right now, but its briefly, just about a girl that he cant let anyone know, she stands out in his life more then anything but for some reason it cant happen, most likly because shes already taken or maybe shes hes to scared to ask her . i dont know ill post my better take, even though theres tons of good ones already up. ugh i love elliott smith |

i like seeing so many NS'rs on here. i have yet too see these guys play live, but there defintly my favourite band, so mellow. but too get to the song its defintly about someone who he really cares for and its not hard to see that there going through something that they dont want too talk about, and he whants the person too know that he cares so much for them and they could tell him anything and it wouldnt matter. |
