It's a serious oversight to ignore the Islamic connotation. The moon and star are a symbol of the religion he converted to only five years after this album. Someone here also mentions the baby in a basket, similar to Moses, who is a prophet of Islam, and of course the people coming from far and wide to hear the word he spread. I don't presume to know exactly what he's saying here but I think it's wrong to ignore this possibility. |

Um...okay, but what is it about? Even the guy that knows Don didn't find out...? It sounds to me like a song to/about a child, celebrating a birthday. The parent is running around trying to get the birthday party in order, and the child is just enjoying life in in the way only a child does, nearly oblivious to how much he means to the people that care for him. It was a great surprise to him so many people came. Nobody knows, darling. Nobody knows how they are loved. Wonderful and sweet. If my daughter ever gets married, this will be our dance, if I have a say. |
