The "swallowing pills" lyric is a reference to the anti depressants that he takes- If you've ever watched the DVD for Still Searching you would see that he explains that for the past couple of years he has taken anti depressants and alot of the songs on Still Searching are a reference to either taking these pills or the feeling he got when he got off of them. |

The name is taken from the bible (as said above) Jesus would have taken all Christians to heaven in i think it was the year 1000 A.D. (maybe not) and this never happened so Buddy lost his faith because he doesn't believe that there is a greater power. |

The song is the second part to All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues- At the end of All the Best Cowboys he jumps off a building and while hes falling he wishes he was never born, then at the very end he starts screaming here i lie which then leads into this song were the first line is here i lie and then it describes how people try to help him but he pushes them away- the song also does have some religious references because obviously Buddy is big into religion. |
