it's obviously (well to me) it's about a friendship between two people that love each other and it's basically a "i have your back and you got mine" sort of thing but if u look at it as a relationship song cuz of the beginning where she mentions "you had my heart" it can also mean being with your lover till the end. |

| oh and by the way she said also on the radio that she made the album The Best Damn Thing like.. well.. you know how artists just want to mess around with songs? She wanted to make this album a "fun" one.. sure her songs like the melodies are more upbeat but if u look at her lyrics she's still the tough chick she is recently. maybe a little bit more girly but she's still tough. | |

i think this song means alot. she made a preview of this song on star 987 just a few days ago.. she said this would be the new single and that she sang this song before at this one concert and she noticed that most of the people there cried. it sort of freaked her out but she was glad cuz she said the song was supposed to be empowering. she said this song was good with any personal stories that we have. like a bad relationship, a death or simply missing someone.. when i heard this on the radio when she previewed a few of her songs i cried immediately... my best guy friend and the love of my life (i've never told him that i loved him before)... had commited suicide on the last day of the year of 2006 during winter break. it struck me so bad cuz things were going really well but he did it and still to this day me and all of my friends had no idea why he did it.
