I kind of thought that the woman was abused physically by her husband or something and then left and abandoned her children and this song is about how they felt. The whole "come home" part makes me think of the children pleading with their mother to come back because they don't know why she left - "Like you left us without notice". That's probably totally off though. |

Belle isn't a person. To be the belle of the ball is like saying that person is the shining star amongst all the others.
I love this song. It's so beautiful and the way their voices overlap is amazing. |
