I was reading a story called "Concerte Angel," by E.G. Grimes, which was a Darkwing Duck story on fanficton.net. It was about Nega-Gosalyn who lived in the Negaverse, with her cruel and heartless guardian Negaduck and his partner-in-crime, Nega-Launchpad McQuack who were very mean to her, (for example: Negs would yell at her for trying to clean the house when he actually wanted it DIRTY since Negaduck was the ruler and dictator of the Negaverse, and the next door neighbors, the Muddlefoots, except for Nega-Tank-who was a polite and well-mannered young man, thought it was very funny-especially Nega-Tank's mean and rude younger brother, Nega-Honker, who was the spitting image of his mother and father, Nega-Binkie and Nega-Herb.) The Friendly Four, the four strange and kind men who loved and cared about Nega-Gosalyn very much fear that Negaduck might have abused her or worse-killed her...(on the first six chapters, I read the song quote, "Through the wind, and the rain, she stands hard as a stone, in a world that she can't rise above, but her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved, Concrete Angel...") I also recall Negaduck unforgiveably destroyed his ward's beloved statue that the Friendly Four gave her for her birthday...and he was about to strike her, but didn't... That story I read made me feel sad; especially for the little girl and the song at the same time, because there are too many children being abused everywhere... |

| This song is very depressing, this talks about suicide, I watched the video on youtube.com and it showed an abused girl evading her abusive drunk boyfriend with a tiger in the background, which shows that she was trapped within his abusive relationship, and she killed herself in the bathroom with a blade. It was kind of disturbing. By the way, my mom doesn't like this song... | |
