| The White Stripes – Bone Broke Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think this song is more of a reflection of the cost of fame. In the first verse Jack sings "Look closer you can see how I been running it. I got a dollar bill in the cockpit. Suprised being white is a black hole?" I think he's saying that people would be suprised that even though the White Stripes are famous they still have money problems. In the second and third verse I believe he's talking about people who were born into wealth and never have to worry about being broke. And with the verse "I'm leaning on a rick with my nails. I'm tellin 'em the moneys in the mail. Keep showing that my bones never fake it. But still a brick bank is gonna break it down." I think he's saying here that since the band has gotten famous more people like lawyers etc. have there hands out. And all he has is his word that he will pay them. I also think "brick bank is gonna break it down." Could mean going bankrupt. I could be wrong, but that's just my opinion of what the song could mean. |

| Taking Back Sunday – MakeDamnSure Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Okay I believe the song is pretty simple to understand. In the lyrics "Scissor shaped across the bed you are red violent red." It's an obvious sexual statement. I think the song is about a boy who wants to take there relationship to the next level physically, but the girl refuses. So the boy ends up getting upset "Break you down so badly." He then starts to become obsessed with this girl for the simple fact that he can't completely have her "I'm going to make damn sure that you won't ever leave. You won't ever get to far from me." | |

| I don't know why, but I get the feeling this song is about a teenage couple running away. | |
| Taking Back Sunday – Little Devotional Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think its obvious what this songs about. It's about teenagers first time with each other and this young boy sneaks in his girlfriends window and he doesn't want her parents to know that he's there. | |
