Man all I hear is a song about friends who date and after they break up their friendship is ruined and stuff like that. But the song seems to be about friends who dated, and after a while the boyfriend(Singer) was done with the relationship because he felt it was dulled and worn out, just like himself which is the line: "I'm So Jaded." So the guy wants to keep the relationship together and not quit knowing that he'll be screwed and not have their friendship anymore. So he's asking himself these questions cause who he thought he liked turned out to be a person in which did nothing for his significance. Good song! Cheers ^_^ |

| Avenged Sevenfold – Almost Easy Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Alright I myself can see how you can somewhat see the song as to having a biblical meaning, but thats not the general moral in which Avenged Sevenfold tried to but out in this album. This album itself had more life views on togetherness and how we're crashing our life and country into the dirt with stupid antics and shit like that. But Almost Easy is definitely not Devil related even though the video may seem other wise. Almost Easy has a meaning which almost seems like a dead five away, although the meanings not solidly placed in stone, cause it can be used for various types of relative matters which in the end all give the same explanation. The song it self is speaking about how its "Almost Easy" to forgive, to move, and things like that. As much as you want to, there will always be that piece down inside you that doesn't want to forgive or want you to move on. Which is what the first few lines Signify: "I feel insane every single time I'm asked to compromise ‘Cause I'm afraid and stuck in my ways and that’s the way it stays" ----Every time they ask him for forgiveness, or something of that sort, he's afraid because there is that piece inside him which makes it hard for him; and possibly make it so he rejects what they ask of him. "Shame pulses through my heart from the things I've done to you It's hard to face but the fact remains that this is nothing new I left you bound and tied with suicidal memories Selfish beneath the skin but deep inside I'm not insane" ---This line seems to confused me irregularly, but it seems as if the bad person, which is the person who has caused him the pain is speaking. But its just a basic Idea, I can't be certain for sure. But yeah, I'm 90% sure thats what the lyrics mean or something along those lines. |

| Avenged Sevenfold – Walk (Pantera cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Yeah Avenged Sevenfold Really did great on this one, Probably the best "Walk" cover. Although Trivium wasn't half bad either. I Mean Disturbed Destroyed this song. Then I heard Avenged Sevenfold play and they were like Gods. The Solo, played by "Sysnter Gates", Absolutely Amazing; It was Nearly Flawless. Zacky's Rythm was great :D I mean Although Matt no longer screams His Melodic voice really brought the Song out. [Is Melodic Even a Word?!] But Yeah They Covered this song Great, although I mean "The Rev" seemed a bit off Tempo, but he fixed his mistake and the Song was just awesome after :D |

Alright well this song to me actually reminds me of the Holocaust. I was Recently read this book called "night" Be Eli Wiesel, and this book talks about how the Jews of Sighet were basically the last ones taken in by Hitler. There was a part in the book were this guy named "Moshe" Survives the Death camp and comes back to the village. He Ends up telling the people of what he saw and how brutal it was, Yet people refused to believe it and they called him crazy. So I think its some How Connected. The Video used for this song is Pearl Harbor; I believe. And Pearl Harbor occurred during World War II, the same time as the Holocaust. The first Verse "With this ink in our skin we've sealed our fate," This is what first got me thinking, the Jewish were given "Tattoo's" Like serial numbers. And All who had them basically ended up dying except for a select few. "Human lives to me seem so unreal, can't see through the fog (nothing past a grey wall)" When I think of this it reminds me of the book and how everyone Ignored Moshe and what he was telling them. They refused to beleive him. "Belief, structure built up in you. I'll tear you down and the one who created you" This phrase itself Reminds me of Hitler. The Jewish Community was basically built up off religion and God. And when I read "I'll tear you down, and the one who created You" reminds me of Hitler himself. Hitler Trying to exterminate the Jews. "A good friend once told me we are our memory without it we equal nothing And all I can see is the place I wanna be Timeless my life was so free Leaves at my feet, blown to the ground their echoes are reaching my ears Nights coming fast, suns going down" But keep away from me... keep away from me And Lastly the Chorus, The chorus makes me think. If I were stuck in a Concentration camp thats probably what would be going through my Mind.I'd be picturing where I'd rather be, and How I'd want to survive. This is Just what I think how everything seems to fit perfectly together, I'm not sure if thats what the song is about but its my interpretation. |
