I heard Take That talking about the meaning of this song, and they said that it's about a guy coming out of a relationship and having someone else interested in him. Even though he wants to move on and be with this girl, he's hurting from what he's been through and he's asking for a bit of time to get his head sorted out. I think this is so refreshing. Too many people (including me) jump from relationship to relationship, scared of missing chances if they wait too long. I could have done with singing this song when my last relationship broke up to the guy I'm seeing right now! |
