| Andrew Bird – Imitosis Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| That thing about him being bullied and pushed about is so sad and adds a whole new meaning to the song. It's not just about the lack of science behind love between a man/woman but also the way humans can be so mean and cold to each other (even when they're only kids) and there's absolutely no scientific reason why "some show no mercy, while others are painfully shy". | |
| Guillemots – Falling out of Reach Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think it's wonderful too. Really sweet. | |
| Guillemots – Clarion Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Easily my favourite song on the album along with Falling Out Of Reach. It has to be up there with the amazingness of the first album. No idea what it means, like. | |
| Mando Diao – Ringing Bells Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Actually I quite like that meaning tricksiness, but it could be more about how like they're leaving and travelling the world but there will always be home in Sweden.. like maybe from another point of view? I'm not sure, I cannot get enough of this tune though. I adore it. | |
| Mando Diao – You Can't Steal My Love Lyrics | 18 years ago |

| Mando Diao – Long Before Rock 'N' Roll Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think, maybe, it's about sex and the whole before rock 'n' roll thing too. The whole fact that music used to be so innocent and then in the late 50s early 60s, music became 'sexy' and alot of songs were full of strong innuendos. He wants to hear something pure and innocent, something that's not sexual or trashy. He wants to go for a bite to eat, but she wants to do it in his brother's car. |

| Athlete – The Outsiders Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I have a feeling this might be the next single, but don't quote me on that. It's a fan favourite, and I love it so I'd love to see them make a good vid for it. | |
| Athlete – Airport Disco Lyrics | 18 years ago |

| Dirty Pretty Things – B.U.R.M.A Lyrics | 18 years ago |

These are the reasons I think it could be about Peter: "I know that you're out there Born ready, but on the decline" On the decline with his drug problems and the press? "Do you remember like I remember? Lost pursuits of excellence The glory of the crowd" This is obvious, glory of the crowd etc. "Lives of imperialists Leave me with aching wrists So no wonder you frown when you’re two world wars down" I don't know why I picked these lines out.. "We’ll never get to heaven with the artillery in tow" This makes me think like maybe the artillery could be another drugs reference, like: 'we'll never get to heaven with a past like ours' ...maybe? "So when the dark times come, it might warm your heart to know That I went to the crossroads but the devil never showed They can stick their war, Im leaving now Makes all the difference to me" This just makes me think aboutn when Carl made the decision to kick Peter from the band.. he was at the crossroads.. "And then my angel I’ll be ready too and I will catch you when you fall" Maybe it's just be but I love the thought of Carl refering to Peter as his angel. "Im pretending that it’s ending but it kills me to act so strong" All of these lines just ring faint bells to me :\ That's it really, think of me what you wish. |

| Dirty Pretty Things – B.U.R.M.A Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I know that "not every song is about Pete" blah blah But to me I feel this song does represent the relationship between Peter and Carl, even if it wasn't intentionally written about him.. if it's about Analisa, which it might be, but to me this makes me think about Peter and Carl. "Do you remember like I remember? Lost pursuits of excellence The glory of the crowd" |

| Incubus – Are You In? Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this but it just came to my attention... at the beginning of the film The Doors, about Jim Morrison and one of the most famous and controversial Rock & Roll bands of all time, Jim says "Is everybody in?" In the exact same tone as Brandon does at live versions of this song... Discuss. |
