I created an account just so I could say this...
First off, amazing song, it was my favorite on happy hollow right off the bat.
But secondly, I think people are reading WAY into the dostoevsky line. I actually laughed the first time i realized that's what he was saying because I think it's in complete sarcasm. Think about the type of person who is studying for an english exam at a college. Think about the type of person who studies dostoevsky. "Once she learned I studied Dostoevsky
It was in the bag." Obviously, Tim is remarking on how this girl as drawn to the guy's intellectual pursuits. Nothing about Dos's personal life. Anyway, I laughed, a little at myself, because the type of person I'm attracted to is the type of person who reads stuff like Dos. So there. hah. |
