holy shit this is a really sad song. Amazing amazing ender to an amazing album. Still hasn't lost his unique style of writing after so many years. So great.
Wait, he said he quit make believe 'cause he wanted to settle down with his wife and stuff. Since they broke up, will make believe live on now?

And I don't know if the second part of lyrics "so I'm calling your ass up..." is from Georgie's perspective. It might be just Kevin calling him out to write what he needs to write. Not sure at all thoguh. |

Isn't the whole album based on Georgie Fruit? So it would make perfect sense if this was about Georgie taking over. And the second song starts Georgie's story when he was in his funk band called like Aerosol or whatever his band was called. "I'm a motherfucking headliner, bitch you don't even know" sounds like what Kevin would want to say but has Georgie to say it ya know. |

I remember first listening to the lyrics and then remembering it one morning in the shower and it did sound like it. So good. I love the recording on Almost Live From Anna's Cabin better (like a lot of the recordings on that album) than the album version. |

One of my favorite JoA songs.
As pretentious as Tim comes off (and a lot of the time, I think he is), he really provokes some crazy thought. And such a creative guitarist. That whole joa tree is so creative with their guitar parts haha |

at first I wasn't too into this song, but then I saw the live video and saw that like, two of them were doing the drums to it like, at the same time, doubling each other, I like, fell in love with it. At the moment me and my friend are trying to memorize the drum part. Seriously their percussion is so mathy and awesome. This and that part in hoodwink have such amazing drum parts I love it. |

One of my favorite songs of theirs. So many genius lines in one song. And it builds up so great. I think it's just about a shitty relationship that finally ended. And the last few lines, if they're written after the "broke up" part, then he sees that she's a mess now. |

I love when the word 'fucking' is both a verb and an adjective. Like the holy ghost is fucking. Which is where the whole "I comed..." part comes in. It sounds like Tim is literally fucking the holy ghost. |

I'm surprised they haven't written an instrumental song called "Can't Talk" yet.
One of my fave JoA songs. |

I love this song.
But ironically, I'm allergic to peaches, plums, and cherries(and almonds, but still...) so however peaceful that scene sounds, to me it's like, death. |

What IS a whorse anyway? Do they mean whores? And Id is the part of your brain that's your primal instinct that just wants pleasure. It's the side of your mind that takes over when you're drunk and desperate like yesimtalkingtoyou said haha. |

| Animal Collective – Sweet Road Lyrics

Well the song's meter is in groups of 3, 3, 3, 4, so it's pretty much in 13 time. That is, until it goes into "I found sweet road I found sweet road I found sweet road" with no musical breaks inbetween them then it's just in 6.
As for the lyrics, I don't really know. Like, at all. |

| Greg Salwen – I Am Happy For You Kenny Lyrics

Kenny actually wore a Wednesday shirt to try to convince other people that tomorrow was Thursday, and at night he realized it was not Wednesday and told Greg Salwen about his experience and how happy he was. So Greg wrote this 'cause he said it was a beautiful moment. |
