| Evanescence – Tourniquet Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I'm sure this has been covered by pretty much every person but i feel like talking! :D A tourniquet is something used to stop bleeding of severe wounds, of course like 2343 have already said that this song obviously talks about self affliction, thus the reference to a tourniquet "My God, My Tourniquet" "Christ, Tourniquet" Christ is obviously the tourniquet Christ is the only one who can heal the wounds of the afflicted person the song is talking about The point of whether this is somebody dying from suicide, or if it's somebody dying to their sing is debatable I wouldn't try to interpret that I could very well be written that way Anyway...yeah |

| Nickelback – Hero Lyrics | 18 years ago |

first off, i think anyone dissing this song is an idiot. this is about discussing the meaning of the song. so, I think this song means that too many people are standing around, waiting for a hero. if you want more love in the world, you have to give it yourself. "Now that the world isnt ending, its love that Im sending to you. It isnt the love of a hero, and thcts why I fear it wont do. " i think this verse is saying that one person's love isnt enough and its challenging the listeners to send out love. but watever |
