I can't believe this song has no more than one comment. This song was a defining part out our (people who grew up listening to Michael) lives. I will never forget the way this song made the world feel. It is true that music heals all wounds. Today the WORLD has said good by the the greatest talent of our time. No one can replace him. My heart is broken. I pray for Michael to be at peace and for his children to grow up knowing that their daddy was an amazing icon!! |

I love this song. I lost my aunt this summer and it has been so hard. I think of her every time I hear this one. We released doves at her funeral and my husband knows the man who owned them and one never came back. I like to think that it symbolic and that she is a dove watching over us.

Wow, I feel old! Seven!! I hear this song and I think back to when I was 16 and this song came out. I was dateing a good old red neck at the time and we would have loads of fun riding for wheelers and coon hunting. Wow, not only am I old, I'm an old hick!!! Ok, I see this song as being about FRIENDS! Particularly the friends you have in high school. You know, BFF (Cause you said forever). At that time in life you actually do think you'll be best friends forever. You and your friends are (fools and you're so cool ). Then the inevetable happens you graduate and get jobs and fall apart from each other.
I had a group of friends in High School and we aere all BFF and we thought we would be forever. Now we hardly ever see each other. |

I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I heard it during the credits for the movie "The perfect man" and immediately ran and put it on my myspace page.
I'm not a very religious person so I don't see the whole Jesus thing AT ALL!!! In fact that's a little weird. But everyone has their on opinion.

This song makes me think of my friend who is hooked on perscription drugs. He has a wife and two young sons. I feel like the person in this song, like him, has lost himself. He is talking to his family saying forgive me if I slip away. I just wish my friend would do like the person in the song and atleast try to comeback to his old self. |

I do have kids, and I sing it to my four month old. This song is beautifull, I'm not a very spiritual person but I like to think of it in terms of God singing to us, his children. And one day he will return and dry our eyes and sing this lullaby. It's comforting. |

This is the perfect song for the new Showtime series The Tudors. It relates to the relationship and events of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn perfectly. He had her beheaded for accusations of adultery, insest and witch craft but it was really because she couldn't produce a male aire that he so desperatly wanted. Yet, on the day of her execution, she made a speach stateing that he was a good king and to pray for him to continue his reign and that he was a gentle and merciful prince. He wrongly accused her "blame it on me".
Was then free to remarry "I don't want to hold you back now".
And she died because she couldn't have a baby boy "my love wasn't enough"
