When I first listened to it, I thought it was about how people change after having sex for the first time. But then I listened to it more carefully, and now I believe it's about actual sex changes. But after reading everyone else's interpretations, I also think it's actually supposed to have a double meaning - sex changes and abortion. Never hearing the 'pitter patter' is not just about the child you abort, but also all the children you can never have if you have a sex change. |
