uh, i think some of these lyrics are wrong, which is okay 'cos it's hard to understand what she's saying. anyway, Yeah, this song actually reminds me a lot of Malibu, and dang, I wish they would have stuck with this sound (and song) for Celebrity Skin. I think they could have done so much more with that album. BUT THAT'S OKAY. i really like this song. i don't know what it means though. haha. |

love this song. i don't know what it's about, but i do know that at the end, the lyrics -as best as i can tell- actually go: "nowhere going backwards walking nowhere going backwards walking..." which is actually kind of clever/ironic? |

i do like the lyrics a lot better on this one, and it explains the masturbation thing a lot better. ANYWAY, i don't think this song sucks at all. do you not think that his vocals are so precious? i mean, COME ON. the way he sings the first verse is hilarious. anyway, i guess i don't care about it sounding perfect because of the natural hilarity of his voice. |

no matter what it's about, really, the lyrics in this song are just so powerful...and amazing. i love all of it, but my favorite is probably the "some people tell me home is up in the sky, in the sky there's a spyyyyyy" ahhhh perry's voice is just amazing and this song speaks volumes. talk about them being an overlooked band. they're so good, but they don't get enough acknowledgment. oh well. at least we all know how good they were. |

Okay, so, whatever, i think this song is about what it looks like it's about. not maynard's LSD trips. But your opinion is your opinion so...that's fine. anyway, i love tool, but i hate that they make these amazing songs on which some of them have the worst lyrics. (this song for example) i'm just saying that cause i'm a christian, and i hate it when people bash on God and just stereotype all christians as hypocrites (not that a lot aren't, just not all) but i totally understand that Maynard is just stating his opinion. and i respect that. but i wish they wouldn't have made the music sound so good, cause i want to listen to it, but then the lyrics make me mad. so i don't. BUUUUTTTTILIKETHESONG. anyways... |
