This song is beautiful. Like one of the people that commented above (two years ago), I also think that it's about a woman who is torn between two men. "Just let me run where I want to run. Just let me love who I want." That's the woman saying it. She doesn't want to have to choose, but she'll have to end it eventually. "Was your heart too soft? Was your love in vain? Was your kiss too weak? Were your eyes too tired?" It's the guy asking the questions, to himself. The woman's torn about it And he is too since he's losing her to another man. Copeland is perfect. |
