I have some corrections for this; You're missing a lot of words, like in the first verse, it says 1. 'the phone call I remember, dialing 911 was the next call made' 2. Chorus; 'Do you want to beat, want to beat me to it? Do you want to beat want to beat me to it?' And that's it. This song is about someone who broke up with their girlfriend, and now she wants him back. But, of course, he won't get back with her. Mmmhm. |

Ohhh I love this song ; definatly one of my favourites by TSE. And yes, they do put on an amazing live show, they're all incredibly nice too. 'Specially Andrew. :) Anyways, I'm pretty sure this song is about going through good and bad times, and just holding on, not giving up, etc etc etc. I could be wrong, idk. |

I used to despise Coldplay; once I heard this song, I got hooked. This song is about; well I think it's about when something doesn't go right, you have to move on. Something like that. All I know is that it's an amazing, breathtaking song. |

I almost died when I heard this song in concert; I had heard this song once before, but had no idea who it was by. So when I heard Nick sing it, I was blown away. He explained what it was about; sort of. That it was about suicide, obviously, and that the chorus is about flirting with suicide, like someone already said. He said that even though you may think it's a good idea, you should never act on it, no matter how bad it gets, because it's a bad idea. I know that everyone who listens to this song is blown away by the "Just ten minutes before you got here I was gonna jump too..." part; I think it's mainly everyones favourite part. My favourite part is definatly "But things are not what they seem as we stand at the edge of the world." Mainly because...well because it just is. Amaazing song. |

Well I'm not sure, but isn't the first lyric is 'I'm racking my brain' not 'I'm back in my brain' but I'm pretty sure that's it. Anyways, I saw The Spill Canvas earlier this year with The Reason and Ten Second Epic; I went for TSE, and I had NO idea who The Spill Canvas was. Once I heard Stapplegunned, which was the first song they played, I fell in love. Two days after, I bought their cd. Anyways, I think this song is about a guy making a 'secret oath' to keep chasing after this girl he likes. Even though, so far, nothing's worked, he still keeps chasing after her. |
