i agree with waffles! i was looking through wikipedia, on the subject of unrequited love, and came across a reference to this song. So I decided to listen to it again, check out the lyrics, and see if I agreed. And now that I have, i see that it's very obvious that this is what the song is about. |

I agree, this song can be taken so many ways and given so many meanings. To me though, I'd have to agree with the addiction theory, more likely a drug. It was the first thing I thought of while listening to the song. It's as though the drugs of choice is being treated like a person, a friend and an enemy, talked to and about. There's a few lines in here that I can't seem to figure out, but overall, I think that's what it'd have to be. |
