Yeah, word Carricriss. Avenged Sevenfold isn't religious, but they have always had a thing with using religion as a band. Hell the name avenged sevenfold comes from a verse in the bible. And I think it's just a symbol for anyone who is willing to take care of his girlfriend for him. Just sayin, yo. And this song fuckin rocks. Who cares if its not all metalxcoredeath RAWR? This just shows how diverse avenged sevenfold is and how far their music has come along since 1998. They are excellent musicians and can play in any style they want. So bitches stop hatin. |

They claim that they hate political bands and try to avoid the political agenda that is music these days. I believe them. After reading the lyrics to this song, I got the impression that it could be the story of a ghost. He was shot, he awoke as a ghost and for some reason, can't move on to heaven. This is kind of like the movie ghost with Patrict Swayze (sp?). God said he could come to heaven, but he had revenge to accomplish. That's what I've got out of it. Great song, by the way. Love the chorus. |
