I kind of think the song is warning us all to get our eyes off the stars and pay attention to our current problems. I think it's saying that if we did manage to colonize another planet, we'd just killit like this one. And if we did find intelligent life, we'd jsut go to war with it. Or something like that. |

To me this is Kezia taking pride in her crime of standing up to a sexist government. Yeah, Mike has teh right of it, I was going by titles. It goes Caleb, the End of this Chapter, then Don't Say a Word. Caleb can be tied in by "Mother always said my son, do the noble thing." And in Caleb it talks about the whole relationship with his parents and how he was raised to become the Insane stalker/killer in the trillogy of musica. |

YEah... that's probably what Tony meant. In my opinion this is one of the greatest, most powerful songs ever writtten... it even occaisionally makes me cry... Why I got out of is, is there is a man, who meets a woman that loves to draw. And The woman inspires this man to also draw, and they draw eachother and other things together, but then the woman falls ill and the mans inspiration fades. "Farewell, my passion, you slowly turn pale I will long for your warmth, made me feel safe". This is the part where I get a little misty eyed, I picture the man sitting at her bedside and He watches her slowly die. He creates a false hope for himself, thinking that maybe if he drew her once more, she would get better. But then the part, "Morning´s here, I must have ...failed" He wakes up at her beside to find her dead, he has failed... That's when waterworks really start for me. I don't care, call me a wuss. This is one of the most beautiful songs ever writen. Tony wasn't kidding when he said "I can change one note and make you cry."* |
