I read in an interview with the TR Ladies that this song is about their friend who breeds dolphins at Sea World Orlando. She go one of her arms bitten off by a baby dolphin and the Taxidermists improvised this song to her in the hospital. It was to make her feel hopeful that her arm would grow back. Thats why the themes of hope and fututre happiness are so prelevent. |

This song was originally rercorded for a cd that a whole bunch of Atlanta bands (don't tell me Tilly is from Omaha, I know, but Derek and Nick are from Atlanta.) contributed to as a memorial to a dead friend. It is nostalgic but definately not sarcastic. |
