Manchester Orchestra – Play It Again, Sam! You Don't Have Any Feathers Lyrics 18 years ago
hmm...just a thought, but does anyone else think that this song could be about the same thing in "I can feel your pain" It seems to have similar lyrics, and they both talk about a girl saying "good bye" I wonder what the story behind this is...

Manchester Orchestra – I Can Barely Breathe Lyrics 18 years ago
I love the lyrics
because if seeing is believing,
then believe that we have lost our eyes
I think this song is about having your own opinions, taking risks, and just living your life. Not everything you see is believable, and you can't always believe what you see. And we DO all deserve something, despite our thoughts that are otherwise to that.

Manchester Orchestra – Where Have You Been Lyrics 18 years ago
Yeah, like all of you guys I saw them with brand new, and to be honest...they were better. I was so impressed by this band and this song. I think it's a really interesting take on the search for God, saying that he is really searching for us and waiting in a sense.

Manchester Orchestra – I Can Feel Your Pain Lyrics 18 years ago
For me this song is about loss, and the pain you feel when you can do nothing to help somebody around you. It reminds me of a situation I had when a friend of mine was in the hospital. I have a feeling that somebody really important died in Andy's life died from getting sick or something. (That I have not been to since your goodbye) Jesus is called a thief because he took that person away from him. He describes a situation of helplessness, because in those situations there really is not a lot that you can do. You juwst want to run away because of the pain that you feel.
So, that's at least my take on it.
