Isaac, the lead singer wrote this song after he had worked with troubled teens. One of the kids he worked with had all of these problems and no one seemed to be able to help him. It turned out that all he needed was support.. The verses of the song describe an attempt by an adult to confront the troubled kid. In the chorus, Isaac laments that he himself was unable to save a friend because he did not know how. This song isn't about abuse or any christian verses, it's just about helping others.. |
