I agree with 8MinutesUpsideDown, way back on the first page. Except, to me the 3rd verse is not about an ex, but rather the person you're currently with. My heart still beats twice as fast whenever I see my girlfriend in the hall at school. I think the chorus of this song is about involving God in your relationship. This is my favourite song ever. |

| Sparta – From Now To Never Lyrics

In my opinion this song is about somebody being strong enough to go off and do what they want to do, for example, being with somebody your parents don't approve of. To me "the time will come to use your voice and push your views" means that you need to speak up for yourself. "you bite your tongue, they'll bury you" means that if you don't keep pushing, they simply won't understand. The second verse could be a reminder to still be polite rather than obnoxious, and to respect your parents opinions. "Scars are for a reason" could easily mean, don't make the same mistake twice, and make sure the person is worth fighting for. The last 5 beautiful minutes could be somebody elses point of view. Like a parent who's saying "it's okay that you're doing what you're doing. I might not have the same opinions as you, but I still respect you, and I'm curious to see where this path will take you". "home is where you believe" might be the parent saying "no matter what, you'll always be welcome here" I still can't quite explain fully what these lyrics mean to me, but I'm probably way off from the actual meaning. |

| Blindside – Cute Boring Love Lyrics

I agree that this song is about abstinance, and in my opinion, the title is a satire, because hardly anybody has a pure, innocent relationship anymore, because they might think of it as "cute BORING love." But I also think you could also look at the second verse almost as a satire, because he mentions "stone cold liberation". Liberation shouldn't be stone cold. I am a bit confused about the chorus though. I think when Christian sings "Don't you ever just like me, long for purity." he is asking a question. But when he sings "Don't you ever get so sick of our territories" it might be a command not to get sick of their "cute boring love". I think that the whole point of this song, is to remind us to stay pure and not get sick of "cute boring love". I think that Christian wants to know that even though you might feel lust and temptation towards somebody, it is always possible to overcome your feelings, and please God instead of yourself. |
