| Guys like this song too! My best guy friend was singing along, he changed the pronoun and was singing about his ex-girl. | |

| Wolfsheim – I Don't Love You Anymore Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yeah. He's so used to being with her that the thought of seperating frightens him, even though he's well aware he no longer loves her. They still go and dance and go through all the couply motions, but there's no enjoyment derived from it. | |
| Wolfsheim – Childhood Cruel Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Compared to a lot of their songs, I think this one is pretty straightforward and blatant. | |
| Wolfsheim – This Is For Love Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't get any suicidal ideations in this song at all! It sounds like someone who has to make a change in something... | |
| Wolfsheim – The Sparrows and the Nightingales Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I like LaLaLogic's interpretations. It is pretty militant at times (Who fights this holy civil war/ a million men in uniform). And the video is kind of at well, especially the intro (I think). To me, I hear him being lost, looking for someone to follow, someone who will lead him right. I noticed that when he sings it live, he really emphasises "Dividing presence from our history" (which is how he says it live), so I wonder if he's not thinking about his country's stigma even today and stuff? That's what it makes me think of anyway, but that's partly because it sounds like a direct response to the older people in my family yelling at me for listening to Germans. | |
| Wolfsheim – Anyway Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I interperated this as a song about mental illness, possibly depression, or strong urges to do something that you believe is wrong. My friend understood it as a song about zombie-esque dancers in a club (similar to "Wundervoll"), who just pull you into their dance and you get swept away by the music into mechanical motions that you have no enjoyment for, maybe even a panic at all the bodies around you. | |

Such a beautiful song! So peaceful and calm and pretty... Tracks in the snow lead past you Clear frosty winds in the moonlight Endless hours filled with glassy silence You keep watch persistently in deepest night Then the stillness is broken Flows into sleepy, meagre wanting The mist blows quietly The world is at last full of light Deep-green meadows, cool shady woods Blossom under the benevolence of the sun Ripening corn in swaying dances Whisper their wisdom to the wind Then the stillness sets in Recently sinking, with hazy breath The mist quietly rises At last night steps onto the world The tracks have returned In the snow near the trees The moon stands alone In the cold night There is a silence A very deep peace An almighty sleep Life quietly loses itself And waits for the new day |

This is an ironic song about club life. Just dancing all night, even when the enjoyment's gone, it's like an addiction that you just keep dancing and dancing so you don't even have to look at yourself anymore. It's an unnatural place where the sun is always risen.. One mistake I've noticed: In the second line of the second stanza, the line is "vergeht die Zeit fast wie im Traum", meaning "time passes by almost like in a dream". The original line, with ganz instead of fast, would be closer to saying "time passes by entirely like in a dream". Similar ideas, but the word is different. Sea of lights... colour rush... Mirror shine... Sound and smoke Thoughts passing by... Visions of sweat and endorphines... Alone with myself in the rythm room Time passes by almost exactly like in a dream Here the sun is always risen And I just keep on dancing Wonderful... wonderful... (two synonyms that both translate as wonderful) Super nice... super great... Wonderful... wonderful... Exhausted... kept going through the night Is this not already the third night That I just kept spinning around myself Just to not see myself? Actually, I can't stand it anymore I feel lonely, I feel dull Then the sun rises again And I just keep on dancing |

A beautiful song that almost won me a singing contest last year (this year I'm possibly doing Kein Zurück). I come to you Hold your hand We go together through this wonderful land That I create for you With mathmatic precision A wonder here A dream right there Just been here and yet already gone I show you my face But you don't see me I know exactly what you like I make a new, magical world for you In which no rain falls In which only your truth counts (The original lyrics leave out an extra verse found in the Praha Mix: Ich bleib' bei dir Ein Lebenlang Das Karussel der Sensucht strahlt im Lichterglanz Ich bin so gut für dich I stay with you For a lifetime The carousel of yearning's shining in brilliant light I am so good for you) I show you mountains Show you lakes Here you need to see only with my eyes And not to understand No fear, you can continue going with me In a great land All for you Here you can be yourself at last In neon sunshine I catch your dreams for you |

| Wolfsheim – Closer Still Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| My all-time favourite song. Like Nailandteeth said, unreciprocated love. Moving closer just because you want to know more about the person, you want to know what they say and who they are, but at the same time, they aren't "into" you, so it's all very one-sided. You're always watching as they speak to others, but not to you. | |
| Wolfsheim – Kein Zurück Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| And hellas, I have about five different live versions, just search for it. It's on the Hamburg Rom Live CD, and also there's one on the Künstliche Welten single. | |
| Wolfsheim – Kein Zurück Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Haripu's translation is pretty similar to mine. It's just about time going on, and not being able to recover what you've lost, and learning things about people or things in your life that you wish you never knew. | |
| Wolfsheim – Auf Ein Wort Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Translation: There is no man who won't be depraved There is no river that won't cease to flow And darkness makes light split on the horizon I feel the wind in my hands The night drowns in my hair And bitterness makes the distant ground shatter in me Your shy glance drives my blood In wild flight through my heart And cold rage makes heaven's dams break in me Flickering flames blaze around you A ring of guild surrounds your head In my name, you holy whore, will speak no lies |

| Wolfsheim – A New Starsystem Has Been Explored Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Translation time! Is this still my face? I can't hear my voice! I'm afraid to see This could all disappear My heart is beating so quickly This pain is so great What a great hero of the stars Whose words fall to dust I have seen the deaths of suns! They were red, so hot So beautiful! Deep space overdose Free and unrestrained Deep space overdose Lost without hope Is this the dull clang With which time began? I'm afraid of seeing This could never have been! The world is a shadow-image Unrequited desires Man's blind dream Lost in light and space I have seens the deaths of suns! The were blue, so cold So beautiful! Deep space overdose Deep and borderless Deep space overdose Old and restless |

Yeah, there are several mistakes in these lyrics... In the chorus: "A narcotising pain", not appetising. "Starving masses cry for help", not artists. First verse: "In this ruthless time", not in this rule it's time. Second verse: "See the concrete bricks behind", not brains "See the false tears that they cry", not thoughts "Pray for reason, for a way", not far away "Public falls asleep... and I", not die It's a great song, in my opinion. I've always interpreted it as talking about a city or even a country in ruins after a war (hence "call it justice, call it fair"), possibly the artist's native Germany. No matter whose house you go to, everywhere looks the same, nobody has enough to live on, and everything's in a state of decay. |
