So first of all I am SO disappointed that the lyrics are "I can see a bed and make it too" not "I can see you better naked too." Which would be cute and reminds me of how guys may compliment your clothes but all they really want to see is you naked. I think this is one of the only songs I've heard by Sufjan where he doesn't sound so completely totally gay. |

funny coincedence! Anwyay, I always thought it was about a cross-dresser who got teeased in school, and this song was his cosolation that soon, he would be out of there, and what everyone else thought didn't matter because he is smarter and just all around better than all them. Definitely a song for anyone who's ever been picked on, for anything. |
