ooh i like that take on it, it fits well. but this reminds me of a situation my best friend was in, where two people love eachother, but the girl is flirting with people, and its making the boy angry and paranoid. she cant change her ways, no matter how she wants to, and cant make im understand how much she loves him. so this is her telling him its not working but that she does love him. |

yeah i agree with what a lot of people have said about breakups and jealousy and stuff. i think its about a guy and a girl who have broken up, and they stil have feelings for eachother, but know they cant do anythng about it, they know they have to move on. i think the girl admits to still loving the boy ("you say your still in love, if its true what can be done"), he doesnt want to say he loves her back, because it would make things harder for both of them. but he cant help wondering whats happening between her and her new boyfriend, because they both know the new guys only their to make the other guy jealous (sorry im not making this very clear) but yeah. i think we all have the right idea, you know what im on about. i think the "kissing the lipless" could be about the girl and her new boyfriend, like what they do together doesnt mean anything ("who bleed all the sweetness away") shes doing it to try and forget everything she had with the shins guy. thats what i think anyhoo :) |
