i actually read a book that was kinda along the exact same lines as this song, so maybe cobra starship got the idea from the book? its called the collector, and it was about a creeper who collects butterflies n stuff just to look at them, and he's a social outcast but he sees this girl and he pretty much starts stalking her, then he wins the lottery and buys a little cottage far in the country n then he kidnaps the girl and keeps her in his basement. its a pretty creepy idea but he's nice to her until she tries to escape and he hits her. this song REALLY reminds me of that book every time i listen to it. good song though :) i love it lol |
