To me it sound's like he's having problems with his girlfriend, keeping in touch, I think its about when hes on tour, he doesn't get to see the one he loves as much as he wants, he only gets to talk to her on the phone, etc. etc. He's trying to tell her he'll make up for it when he gets home.. This song explains exactly what I'm going through right now, .. me and my ex had broken up. And right now we're fighting with eachother, and its at the point where it's like .. " I wish I never met you ". .. When this song says.. "and I didn't mean to get so close and share what we did and I didn't mean to fall in love, but I did and you didn't mean to love me back but I know you did" .. to me it means that the person he loves is regretting what they had, and when he says thats hes pretty much saying .. "im sorry that we had to meet.. but its not my fault, face it, we were in love." because she is denying it. Anwyays.. this song is amazing. Plain White T's are awesome, I love these guys. |
