this song is just so great....it made me cry..well actually i related to the coz i thought it was a guy asking a girl what she wants and telling her that shes no superman....wow..it says so much...i simply adore DMb...look at the lyrics..maybe they mean so much to me coz.. i likd this guy and he likd me 2 bt i always rejected him thinkin hes just "no superman"..now tht he goin out with sum1 ...i really realise that i liked him soo much...i didnt actually want a superman...where was i actually going??? what was i looking for...?? i dunno...now i regret all of it....wow such a beautiful song...think about it guys... |

...ya the songs good...also the fact that shes written it based on her visit to india(im indian..lol)... i totally agree with rasyuk/g..hey guy u made sense outa that line..thx..but the best part of the song is..(though the lyrics are supa cool..they actually make u realize how things are)ut this part is just so....exhilarating.. The moment I let go of it was The moment I got more than I could handle The moment I jumped off of it was The moment I touched down its just so nice think about it..how differently thing work..when you dont care and how when you care its so differnt again....think about the part its really nice...hope you like it |

| ...welll.watever it may not be ironic nd all but it still says a lot of meaningful stuff...goood lyrics..ppl here are acting lyk hypocrits..its okay the songs good....some actual critics had a great deal of arguements that if the song was IRONIC or not...eventually alanis herself admitted it wasnt sheer irony...ppl actually joked round saying"its like rain on your wedding day if you are marrying a weatherman and he fixed the date!!!! lololol now thats what is called irony...still leave the girl alone...shes good and thats what matters | |

i agree with the people here and i too think this songs about a girl who was given all things she wanted in life..and know when she has nothing...like when he says "When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose"..i think hes potraying her as someone who was very well known and did what she wanted and never thought of any1 else..and now when shes alone hes comparing her to the same people she luaghed on and cracked the people who were nothing and very insignificant and how badly they were illtreated by her..shes gonna suffer all this too..just like that saying "you get what you do"...she illtreated the people coz at that time she was very great and honored and now..for every1 she is insignificant...hope u ppl like how i explained this loadsa |
