It's corny as hell, but this song saved my life. I was depressed for ~6 years (the feelings come and go now, but it doesn't hurt like it did.) and suicidal for most of that time. I'd held on for a long time, but after a lot of shit went down on top of the already existing depression, I was going to kill myself. I've never wanted to die, and this time was no exception, so I just repeated "when your life feels lost/fight against all odds/never give in/never back down" over and over to myself. I know this song could be interpreted many ways (like not giving up your way of life instead of not giving up your life) but that's what it means to me. This band will always have a special place in my heart<3 |

First off: it's really annoying when you try to look up "Dark Sekret Love" and can't find it because they decide to put it in wrong -.- Second off: It's also on the German Join Me single. Which is the one in the Single Collection. Which came out before all but the first comment was posted. The rest of you should have had no trouble finding it in stores. Not to mention the fact that it's super easy to find on P2Ps. Third off: -sigh- finally, the actual comment. This has always been one of my favourite songs. I love the bible verse in it, which just goes to show how beautifully written the bible is if you regard it as nothing more than pretty prose :) I don't have anything intelligent to say about the song though. Just one of those songs that makes me giddy when I hear it :D Fourth (and last) off: the verse is Song of Solomon 8:6, if anyone was wondering. |

Since Manson likes making plays on words, in reference to the title, "Cryptorchid", maybe it has to deal with not only kaisute's interpretation, but the whole innocence bit, too. Cryptorchid sounds like CRYPT or KID. A crypt is where (often religious) relics, coffins, sarcophagi, and the like are kept. It could be an allusion to how Christianity is stored in a child's mind. He could be saying "Is this a crypt or a kid?" But maybe that's just me. |

Am I the only one who finds 90% of the song to be jibberish? I can't honestly find a meaning in it.. at all. I hadn't realized what he was actually saying until I heard a Tori Amos cover.. I like her version of the song, but the lyrics are still quite strange. (Not a huge fan of the Nirvana version. Grunge just isn't my thing.) |

Why is everyone debating the lyrics.. when they're actually in the book? (I have the two-disc version of Nymphetamine, does the other version perhaps not have them?) I really wish someone would edit these lyrics so they actually read the same as the CD booklet. I agree with the thing about Faust. Maybe it's not about him, though. I always saw some sort of abuse in this song, and what lostsnake & The Red Pyramid said makes a lot of sense. There's also the possibility, with the line "Tell me I'd never forget", maybe if she left him he'd soil her reputation, or give her/her family a hard time. |

Wow.. some people have overactive imaginations. If they were from anywhere in America, don't you think their English would be better? [Not that it's bad. It's actually quite good.. but some of the ways they say things, like Cristina was talking about her bandmates in an interview & said something about "each single of them", make it obvious they aren't from around here.] -anyway- I wouldn't be surprised if they gave this song the odd title just to throw us off. I'm only in French I, so my knowledge is minimal, but since all of the other possessional phrases [what are they called again?] are feminine, thus we can assume the song is about a female, shouldn't he say "ma amour" [or whatever that would be. It looks like something they would contract.] instead of mon amour? Unless he was talking about his love not as a person.. =\ Or maybe it's right and I don't know what I'm talking about. On a completely different note. Yeah, this song kicks ass. =D |

Tarja's voice was amazing, you can't deny that. But I love the new singer, as different as she is. Before Eva came out, and they announced the new singer, I was half-hoping she'd sound just like Tarja, half-hoping she'd be different. It's cooler this way, though. If she sounded like Tarja, there'd really be nothing to be too excited about. |
