Well this song is definately about greed and indulging in too much. But in the middle of the song dave states this Play for me, play more, ten times in the same day I need more, I’m going over my borders I’m going to take more, more from you, letter by letter This is a kind of call out to his audience, stating that we are even greedy about wanting to see Dave, and the hysteria is causes. The borders that are desribed in these lines are the borders between individuals, not countries, and we are taking more and more of dave, one letter at a time, one song at a time. but this song has many examples of over indulgence besides this one. |
