| The lyrics are easily understood. As for the song not being their best... It is absolutely incredible to hear live. Draws up a different vibe from the crowd, i noticed. And definitely not in a bad way. Like nicolezoe mentioned, they're expanding their base. | |

This can't have a negative meaning to it! It just *can't*!! i think it's really just him going on about how he loves Sunshine, in a sort of gentle teasing way at times. Like, "You're drying up my bed How can I get any rest now" Like, when you pretend to scold someone for keeping you awake, even though you both know that you're glad you're not sleeping. And then "'Someday you will get the best of me Oh someday probably when I'm old and grey" Growing old together :) No hidden meaning. Just a sweet little song that deserves a lot more praise and attention than it got. |

More than anything, I think you should all try and remember that these guys were BOYS when they started out. Angry, 14-year-old boys with a lot of pressure on them that they had to learn to deal with pretty quickly. They haven't become commercial. They grew up. Look at Daniel Johns - depressed as hell as a 16-year-old, had the world in his face and a good lot of anger in him. Now? He's married, he's overcome some pretty life-changing situations and issues and he's learned to hold and present himself with a type of poise that deserves to be respected. Hey, at least they're still together - and they're not even 30 yet so they probably have some more left in them. And, they didn't end up like most famous-at-15-bands and become in-your-face, arrogant teeniles the public loathes. |
